ChatTuner - UI Customizer for ChatGPT
ChatTuner gives you live control over ChatGPT’s visual density and reading layout. Open one compact panel to tune the sidebar, conversation width, message spacing, font size, line height, and composer width.
Changes apply immediately and persist through Chrome’s extension settings. There is no account, analytics, advertising, cloud backend, or remote code, and ChatTuner does not read, retain, or transmit conversation text.

Known limitations
- Designed for current Chrome desktop versions on chatgpt.com.
- ChatGPT can change its page structure; a future site update may require a ChatTuner compatibility update.
- Other Chromium browsers may work but are not part of the supported release environment.
- ChatTuner changes presentation only. It does not add, remove, or modify ChatGPT account features.
Why I built it
ChatGPT has to serve many different kinds of work, so its default layout cannot be ideal for every screen, reading style, or task. ChatTuner makes the interface adjustable without turning that adjustment into another workspace to manage.
